AIRPORT SERVICES PROVIDED

  • SITE VISITS

  • An FAA qualified airport wildlife biologist (QAWB) will visit your location to perform an assessment identifying wildlife hazards, obtaining information of previous wildlife activity, and give professional recommendations for alleviating wildlife hazards. This report will then be submitted to the FAA for approval and further guidance.

We will schedule an initial consultation to collect data and information regarding your airport’s needs. This process typically takes 1-2 days.

  • HAZARD ASSESMENT

  • The hazard assessment is a year long study conducted by an FAA qualified airport wildlife biologist (QAWB). During this assessment, we review strike records, wildlife logs, visit with stakeholders, and conduct observations of wildlife to create a plan and report findings to the FAA for approval and further guidance.

This yearlong study will collect information regarding the wildlife hazards specific to your airport. Information is gathered by our team through both on-site and off-site observation and analysis. During this yearlong study, we will provide quarterly updates of our findings. We will then gather and use the information to create a report of our professional recommendations that, after your review, will be submitted to the FAA for approval.

  • WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT PLAN

  • The wildlife hazard management plan (WHMP) is created based off the findings and recommendations of the hazard assessment. We work with airport management and personnel to develop and execute efficient solutions to your specific management needs. Wildlife plans are then submitted to the FAA safety inspector for approval.

  • BASH

  • We provide military BASH training and services.

  • TRIGGERING EVENT MANAGEMENT

  • Whenever there is a triggering event, as outlined by FAA regulations, we will personally fill out the appropriate forms and properly submit them.

  • PART 139 ANNUAL TRAINING

  • We teach and train airport personnel so they may execute the management practices outlined in the WHMP to ensure safe skies for all stakeholders. Per FAA regulations, certificated airports are required to hold annual training for personnel charged with carrying out the WHMP. We cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vendors and product designers in the wildlife management industry that allow us to stay on the forefront of wildlife management practices and products.

  • ANNUAL PLAN RENEWAL

  • Per FAA regulations, certificated airports are required to annually review and renew wildlife management plans with an FAA qualified airport wildlife biologist (QAWB). During this time, the QAWB meets with the airport stakeholders as well as the airport personnel tasked with carrying out the plan to collaboratively evaluate if the plan is still meeting the airports needs. The plan is then amended accordingly and submitted to the FAA safety inspector for approval.

Per FAA requirements, we will renew your WHMP annually and continue to provide comprehensive training to airport personnel.

  • AUDITS/ FOLLOW UP SITE VISITS

  • If your airport uses a different organization for wildlife management services, we can consult with all stakeholders to ensure the plan is not only meeting your needs, but also uses the most up to date methods and products. This service correlates directly with our Safe Skies Initiative through which we are dedicated to helping airports create outreach programs and foster relationships with community members and local agencies.
